    Questions about Moose Logic

Why do business owners rely on Moose Logic?
Moose Logic offers three critical benefits - expertise, accountability and business solutions.

The Logical MooseExpertise.  Moose Logic has experience you can trust.  The team at Moose Logic has combined IT experience exceeding 40 years; each team member has a minimum of 6 years hands on experience.  We have designed, built and managed over 1,500 systems for more than 200 clients.  Our customers range in size from 1 server to more than 50.

Accountability.  Moose Logic is a reliable, tested business partner.  Moose Logic makes your business problems our problem.  We are responsible for every aspect of our projects.  Our pricing, business model and Moose GuaranteeTM are all designed to offer you an unbreakable covenant of trust in our delivering results.

Business Solutions.  Moose Logic gives you confidence in your network tools.  All of our solutions are tested, best of breed products.  You will not find bleeding edge, beta software or hardware with us.  We take the time to learn your business and your problems and design client specific solutions based upon products and services we test and trust.

    Why should I trust Moose?
Our Moose GuaranteeTM is our way of putting our time and work where our mouth is - you have very little risk in switching to Moose Logic.

Our Client Testimonials also make it very clear; business owners like you trust their critical solutions to Moose Logic.

Our Moose Team is experienced, tested and certified.

    How can I be sure?
Still need reassurance? Contact Moose Logic President Scott Gorcester right now.  Scott can be reached at (206) 774-0619 or scott.gorcester@mooselogic.com.  Ask Scott about his company, the Moose Guarantee, client referrals and/or your business challenges.  The proof is in our people, from the top down.

Expert, Accountable and Professional; how about affordable?
We can offer solutions that are appropriate for your budget and task because of our expertise, accountability and professionalism.  We do not reinvent the wheel, we know what it takes to solve your problems and we are experts at implementation - meaning we can offer tremendous value.

I was referred to you by a large company.  However, we can't afford, and don't need a huge network.
Our expertise was built on projects both large and small.  We pride ourselves on our ability to take what we've learned about how the largest enterprises manage their IT infrastructure and 'right-size' it for your business.  A smaller business needs the same thing that a big business needs:  computer systems that just work!  But the budget is vastly different, and the margin for error is smaller.  Whether you're big or small, our objective is to work with you to implement solid, reliable systems that bring value to your business yet still fit within your budget.

Where is Moose Logic located; and where are your clients?
Moose Logic is committed to building trusted relationships with clients, one way we do that is by being immediately available to assist in your business.  We have offices in Woodinville and Bellingham, and, coming soon to Tacoma and Olympia.  Our team is staffed from across the Puget Sound area to respond quickly to your needs.

Our client base is primarily focused within the Puget Sound area, but our work is so well trusted we have clients as far away as New York!

    Questions about the Moose Team

How do I know Moose Logic is qualified?
The Moose Logic team carries professional certifications for each of the products we recommend, use and support.  Certifications are the standards used by software and hardware companies to qualify the skills and knowledge of technicians and resellers.  The Moose Team is certified as follows:  Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Small Business Specialist, Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP), NSI Double Take Professional, Marathon Certified Technician, RightFax Certified Technician and WatchGuard Certified Sales Professional.

    Can we trust your Staff?
The Moose Logic team is one of the most trusted names in the business.  The combined experience of our staff exceeds 4 decades.  Our 'junior' members have a minimum of 6 years of experience.  We have worked together as a team for over 12 years.  We are certified to bring you the best solutions for your business.  But do not take our word for it; read what our clients say.

Will I have to work with a bunch of technology "geeks"?
Our spouses may disagree, but we certainly don't think so.  Moose Logic is staffed with experienced small business owners.  Our critical benefit to you is we look for technical solutions to your business problems - we speak your language.  That is not to say we don't like to watch those monster-robot building shows on cable, but we won't talk to you about that.

    Questions about Moose Products

Can anyone subscribe to MooseGuardTM Managed Network Solutions?
No.  To fully benefit from reliable services and products, our clients must meet a minimum threshold of current and compatible computing products.  Most of our clients have met this threshold.  As a courtesy, we offer an introductory network audit to survey your existing infrastructure, to understand your business goals and to ensure a partnership fit.  We will identify any obstacles to your system's performance and, most often, suggest a remedy.

Will I lose control of my system with MooseGuardTM Managed Network Solutions?
No.  Although we do maintain 100% accountability for your satisfaction, and your systems' performance, the products and tools are yours.  We simply take away the headaches - you keep the assets.

With MooseGuard, will I have to buy an entirely new system?
No.  To effectively manage your network systems, Moose Logic does require a minimum level of product compatibility and currentness.  This may mean some upgrades to existing equipment.  Most of our clients come to us with computing components that we work to integrate into a new system that will help their business grow.

Can I trust your products and services?
    Absolutely.  Read our Moose Guarantee.

Will you come in and disrupt my office for hours to 'set up' our system?
No.  That has not been our experience.  Many network providers are 'learning' when they come in to build your system.  At Moose Logic we prefer to use our experience to design, build and test your new systems in OUR office.  We create here and bring our solutions to your doorstep for rapid installation.  In addition we use the latest technologies to monitor, repair and maintain your systems remotely, which allows us to keep your systems running smoothly with minimal impact to your business.

I just need someone to come fix my system, can you do that?
You bet! Many of our clients started with us in just this mode, HELP! We will come in and offer you an easy to understand and value priced quote.  Call (206) 774-0638 or email support@mooselogic.com.

A more humorous take on Moose Logic

    Claude Shannon 1916-2001

American electrical engineer and mathematician, has been called "the father of information theory", and was the founder of practical digital circuit design theory.

In 1948 Shannon published his landmark A Mathematical Theory of Communication. He begins this pioneering paper on information theory by observing that "the fundamental problem of communication is that of reproducing at one point either exactly or approximately a message selected at another point." He then proceeds to so thoroughly establish the foundations of information theory that his framework and terminology remain standard.

Shannon's theory was an immediate success with communications engineers and stimulated the technology which led to today's Information Age.

Shannon published many more provocative and influential articles in a variety of disciplines. His master's thesis, A Symbolic Analysis of Relay and Switching Circuits, used Boolean algebra to establish the theoretical underpinnings of digital circuits. This work has broad significance because digital circuits are fundamental to the operation of modern computers and telecommunications systems.

Shannon's theories are as relevant today as they were when he first formulated them. "It was truly visionary thinking," said Arun Netravali, president of Lucent Technologies' Bell Labs. "As if assuming that inexpensive, high-speed processing would come to pass, Shannon figured out the upper limits on communication rates. First in telephone channels, then in optical communications, and now in wireless, Shannon has had the utmost value in defining the engineering limits we face."

Quote: "Information is the resolution of uncertainty."

Why be uncertain about the security of your business data? Moose Logic gives you confidence in your network tools. All of our solutions are tested, best of breed products.  You will not find bleeding edge, beta software or hardware with us. We take the time to learn your business and your problems and design client specific solutions based upon products and services we test and trust.

Our clients usually come to us for one reason - their systems are no longer solving their business problems, and are causing distractions to operations. Indecisiveness and uncertainty can harm your business. Moose Logic's pricing, business model and "Moose Guarantee" are all designed to offer you an unbreakable covenant of trust in our delivering results.
