Citrix XenApp
Citrix XenApp is the de facto standard for on-demand application delivery. XenApp
allows any Windows application to be virtualized, centralized, and managed in the
datacenter and instantly delivered as a service to users anywhere on virtually any

Why deliver applications on demand?
Virtual application delivery lets IT manage a single instance of each application
in the data center. Applications can then be streamed on demand to any or all of:
- Powerful XenApp servers in the datacenter where they can be remotely - and securely - accessed
by clients using PCs, Macs, laptops, thin clients, tablets, or smartphones.
- Virtual instances of Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 running on the Virtual
Desktop Infrastructure of the organization's choice.
- Desktop or laptop PCs on the local network, where the applications are then executed

their systems from the local network and continue to use the applications for a
