Position Summary:
The Systems Consultant position is responsible for applying consulting services methodologies in the installation, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft and Citrix products. The position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a project team. A Systems Consultant assumes responsibility for the completion of specific project deliverables based upon accepted best practices and general consulting practices. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as, strong written and verbal communication skills are required for the position.

Primary Accountabilities: A Systems Consultant works on analyzing, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to complex network system problems. The individual must exercise independent judgment while being able to work as part of a team and follow the lead of Senior System Consultants.

The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Act as a Microsoft and Citrix technology advisor with clients.
• Effectively execute Moose Logic service offerings.
• Identify additional opportunities with current clients. 
• Meet project deliverables as assigned by a senior consultant.
• Understand a project's deliverables and the role the consultant plays in providing those deliverables.  
• Flexibly meet varying levels of expertise depending on the job. 
• Proactively seek to expand knowledge and supplement skills through appropriate use of books, manuals, and other self-study and point of need training.

Qualifications: The Systems Consultant must have 4+ years of demonstrated technical problem solving experience as well as strong communication and documentation skills. This position requires some knowledge and experience with Citrix Presentation Server technology. The individual in this position must be self-starting, flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and possess the ability to learn new products and technologies. The successful candidate for this position will possess an understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems for servers and desktops as well as common office productivity software such as Microsoft Office. Additional knowledge of networking technologies in any of the following areas is beneficial to the success of the applicant:

• Active Directory implementation
• Windows server setup and configuration 
• Understanding of DNS, WINS, DHCP, IIS and other complementary Microsoft server technologies
• Network Security
• Routing
• Firewall configuration
• Networking
• TCP/IP
• Scripting

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience and knowledge of network design and system architecture is desired. CCA and MCP are preferred. The successful applicant must have a positive customer service attitude and be willing to travel as required.
