Sid, thanks for coming by and seeing us at Kaviza and for the write-up.

You got it right that the cost savings with Kaviza VDI-in-a-box is in the infrastructure and that now you can get the HDX protocol as well at a very affordable price with Kaviza virtual desktops. Regarding storage, Kaviza works with SANs today, so if you have a SAN you are welcome to use it. If you don't, or if your SAN is over utilized, Kaviza allows you to get going with a farm of virtual desktops that work on commodity servers with direct attached storage and still get high availability and the ability to scale without any huge up front investment in storage. It also works seamlessly with application streaming from App-V and XenApp.
