Blog Rules

Thank you for visiting the Moose Logic Blog! It is our intent that this will become a valuable resource for tips and technical information regarding all aspects of application delivery and virtualization. We welcome your comments and participation, and ask only that you keep a few rules in mind:

  • Although you are not required to register in order to comment on blog entries, we encourage you to become a registered user. If you do, you will be listed in the directory so others will have an idea of who you are, what you do, and who you work for. You can even upload a picture if you wish!
  • When you log into the site, you will be taken to your “Dashboard.” If you look along the left side of the Dashboard, you will find a link to your profile. (To get back to your Dashboard at any time, click on “Site Admin” under the “Tools” section of the right sidebar.) This is where you can change the information you submitted when you registered – except for your login name, which cannot be changed. We encourage you to upload a picture (although it will have to be approved by a site admin before it will show up on the pages) and to fill in some biographical information. Please note the drop-down box labeled “Display name publicly as.” That will control how your name is displayed on your comments. You can change it at any time, but it will NOT retroactively make that change on comments you’ve already submitted, and it WILL break the link to your profile on those older comments.
  • After you have submitted a comment, you have a 10 minute windows during which you can edit that comment. This is intended to allow you to correct the occasional error in spelling or grammar. You don’t get to come back tomorrow and edit or delete a post that you wish you hadn’t made.
  • As part of the registration process, you are required to accept our “Disclaimer,” and our Privacy Notice.  We encourage you to actually read what they say. Among other things, it states that Moose Logic “reserves the right to moderate, edit, and/or delete comments that, in the sole judgment of Moose Logic, are inappropriate, and to delete or deactivate the accounts of registered users who post such comments.” So please help us keep this a community that everyone feels comfortable participating in.
